Role: Supply Chain Project Manager

Location: Santa Monica, CA

Duration: Long Term

Description:We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Supply Chain team as a Project Manager for Global Supply Chain. The project manager will have overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of the project/program. On-going project management of one or more department projects and or programs which may include but are not limited to our global and regional supply chain teams as well as partnering with project managers across other Technical Operations functions and sites: Quality, Process Development, and our Clinical and Commercial manufacturing sites.

Responsibilities:
  • Utilizes strong operational and project management skills to manage operational aspects, timelines, and deliverables associated with global business project needs, risk evaluation, and mitigation strategy across the global supply chain department
  • Liaises with internal and external groups to maintain a high level of quality and consistency across cross-functional teams on best practices, industry standards to drive cross-functional communication
  • Ability to anticipate and recommend process improvements for both internal and external groups
  • Collaborates closely with various stakeholders across the global supply chain in the development and preparation of global operational projects to ensure tracking and compliance
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans to identify/communicate interdependencies as well as critical path activities across workstreams
  • Provides feedback to appropriate team members, assembles information, and maintains project documents as necessary
  • Maintain project status and provide routine monthly reporting to project steering committee/supply chain leadership, team
  • Responsible for administrative coordination of project-related tasks such as maintaining team calendar and scheduling meetings with relevant stakeholders
  • Utilize change management principles to champion change for successful adoption and post-project sustainment of changes introduced

Requirements:
  • 10 years’ experience in Supply Chain and/or Change Management and/or Project Management with a PhDOR
  • 5+ years’ experience in Supply Chain and/or Change Management and/or Project Management with a Master’s degreeOR
  • 7+ years’ experience in Supply Chain and/or Change Management and/or Project Management with a Bachelor’s degreeOR
  • 12+ years’ experience in Supply Chain and/or Change Management and/or Project Management with a High School degree

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of relevant project management experience, preferably in a GxP environment
  • Project Management (PMP) Certification preferred
  • Experience in the life sciences industry such as cell/gene therapy, pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical devices is a plus
  • Demonstrated mastery of project management processes, procedures, and methodology
  • Independently motivated and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Leverage relevant technology such as Smartsheet, MS Project, Visio, PowerPoint, and MS Office for efficient project management and execution
  • Strategic thinking, strong business acumen, ability to manage complexity, and proven communication skills at all levels in the organization
  • Collaborative individual, able to influence without authority and engage senior leaders and functional partners proactively
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly fluid company environment with minimal direction
  • Demonstrates respect focuses on delivering value and embraces learning and continual improvement
