ACS group has an immediate need for System Analyst with experience in the Pharmaceutical industry, This is for 6 month contract with possibility of extension and is located in Santa Monica CA.Please review the job description below:As IT Systems Analyst you will be responsible for the delivery of technology that supports operations in our manufacturing site. The IT Systems Analyst will collaborate with their business counterparts in developing new capabilities to manufacturing, process development and quality systems. This includes configuration, customization of existing applications, developing proof of concept, problem solving and troubleshooting and data management capabilities. Your Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):
• Collaborating on application development projects with the clinical operations, process development, and Facilities and Engineering.• Liaising with clients and incorporating user-defined needs and feedback into application designs.• Develop configurations for applications, as well as installing, maintaining, and testing applications.• Providing users with technical support.• Optimizing applications by integrating new technologies and performing upgrades.• Contributing to presentations, as well as demonstrating prototypes and completed applications.• Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures, as well as improving configuration and re-designing tasks.• Generating ideas for software innovation based on market trends.• Documenting development processes, procedures, and application version histories.• Keeping up with advancements in application engineering and new technologies.Knowledge, Experience and Skills• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or similar.• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as an applications engineer.• Previous experience in manufacturing systems is advantageous.• Experience in a regulated GxP environment, preferably pharmaceutical.• Proficiency in enterprise application, ERP, LIMS, EBR and analytical platforms.• Extensive experience in deploying, optimizing, and maintaining software.• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.• Exceptional customer services and interpersonal skills.• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.• Great organizational and time management skills.
