Are you a skilled Application Security Analyst looking to leverage your expertise with a leading federal contractor?
If so, we may have the ideal opportunity for you with our client in Seaside. This is a contract to hire role. Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen with an active Secret clearance with SSBI and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.Responsibilities of the Application Security Analyst:- Follow established government processes to perform analyst functions
- Track, measure, and evaluate application security compliance enterprise-wide
- Support application security practices and tools
- Research current infosec landscape and recommend improvements
- Conduct security reviews of application scan results
- Review and approve applications for promotion to production environment
- Ensure authorized access for all AppSec tools
- Prepare and present weekly updates
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- At least 2 years of cyber security experience
- Experience in at least one: Fortify, Sonatype, WebInspect, or Burp
- Excellent understanding of the SDLC
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Hands-on scripting experience highly desired
