Do you want to make an impact on students' lives, earn outstanding pay, and have fun at the same time? As a tutor / teacher / instructor with Tried & True, you will be tutoring in local students homes and online. We also have opportunities to teach group classes on high school and college campuses.
Right now we have a particular need for tutors who are confident in AP Chemistry.
In general, we seek in-person instructors who can bring out the excitement in students, even for something like test prep. You will engage students with creative activities and games. We provide the training, the curriculum, the lesson plans, and the students. You provide your experience and sparkling personality.
Job Requirements:
A passion for learning
Engaging presence
Ability to break down complex concepts into easy-to-understand explanations
Comfortable teaching high school level Reading, Writing, Math, and Science
Reliable transportation
After-school, weekend, and summer availability
A completed bachelor’s degree or proof of progress toward a bachelor’s degree
Teaching or tutoring experience a plus
Public speaking or youth mentoring experience a plus
