About the preschool:
We are a child-centered preschool, committed to the growth of each child in a caring environment that nurtures self-acceptance and exploration. We offer a program that blends supervised activities and self-initiated learning. Each classroom is designed to enhance the developmental learning levels of the children in the program. In addition to art we offer our preschool children music, dramatic play, story telling and large and small motor play. It is our goal to give each child the seed of confidence that grows with every success. We offer a transitional kindergarten class for five-year-old children. The transitional kindergarten class is a developmental program with age-appropriate activities that enhance a child's readiness for kindergarten.

Floater/Substitute Teacher – Part-Time as needed
Position's Overview:
We are a non-profit preschool in San Francisco seeking a floater/substitute teacher, 9 AM – 6 PM. This individual will work with all staff members throughout the school. Responsibilities include interacting and guiding children in a developmentally appropriate and positive manner; and develop and maintain the classroom-learning environment that allows for individual and group activities.
Qualifications:
You must have at a minimum of 24 ECE units, B.A. in Child Development preferred and have successful preschool teaching experience. DO NOT RESPOND IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THESE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS.
We seek a talented early childhood educator who has the ability to be a team player and work collaboratively in a teaching team. The candidate must exhibit excellent communication skills, and be punctual and dependable.
This position offers:
- Signing bonus of $500 after 90 days.
- Hourly rate depend on experience
