We are looking for a full-time preschool teacher to teach our 3.5 year old twins from our Mill Valley home for at least 6 months.
Each day you would create an engaging set of activities that nourish our inquisitive and vivacious children socially, artistically, physically, emotionally, mentally and creatively in our lovely home nestled in the Mill Valley redwood forest.
We are not re-enrolling our children in preschool this year in order to maintain some social distance as their Grandmother lives in an in-law unit at our home and is at higher risk of COVID-19 due to her age but still want to create rich experiences for our delightful son and daughter. Their two Dads will be in and around the house as they work remotely.
Must have:
Experience at a high-quality preschool (Montessori preferred)
Attunement to the emotional well-being of toddlers (e.g., attachment-based or child-led)
A warm disposition and love of working with young children
A car (our home is 10 minutes’ drive from downtown Mill Valley)
Nice to have:
A degree in early childhood education, or a related field
A special interest in creative pursuits (art, crafts, music)
Second language, ideally Spanish

The daily schedule would be 7:30am-3:30pm Monday through Friday (with 1:30-3pm or so often being a nap). Compensation is $800-1,000 per week, depending on experience and we are looking for a minimum commitment of 6 months.
