Coastland Civil Engineering continues to build and strengthen our staffing and services to meet the growing needs of the city, county and state agencies we serve. We have an immediate opening for a Construction Inspector with a minimum of 3 years of experience on public projects. RCE or EIT certification is desired but not required.Â
This position will be filled in our Pleasant Hill office and will primarily work in and near the San Francisco Peninsula, including Belmont. Â
Responsibilities include monitoring contractor's work, materials and construction progress to ensure compliance with contract documents and schedule. Â
Minimum requirements:Â
    Knowledge of public infrastructure construction practices.
    Minimum of 3 years of construction experience on public projects.
    Caltrans project experience.
    Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field is desired.
    Certified Erosion, Sediment & Storm Water Inspector (CESSWI) and/or QSP/QSD is desired Â
