We’re looking for an experienced estimator to help us put together bids for housing development projects in San Francisco. We are a startup with experience in the industry but lack a lead estimator to help piece the puzzle. Specifically, we need someone who knows commercial construction inside and out, with a focus on finish carpentry and doors, frames, and hardware.
Your main role will be pricing the labor scope and providing material/quantity takeoffs as needed (we can assist with takeoffs). Ideally, you’re someone who’s confident putting together complete bids, drawings, details, and can break down the general scope of work.
What we’d love to see:
A list of projects you’ve successfully bid on (either for a company or your own business).
Examples of past bids successful bids around this specific scope or takeoffs you’ve worked on.
