Busy commercial cabinet shop in Richmond is seeking a Project Engineer/CAD draftsman
Must be familiar with CAD systems, preferably Latest version of AutoCAD
Must be familiar with current cabinet construction methods, practices, systems, and materials
Must have knowledge of common commercial building systems and practice
Responsibilities:
Prepare and revise shop drawings for submittal using AutoCad
Adjust shop drawing for redlines and field conditions
Ability to read architectural plans
File management
Follow company/department requirements
Compile and complete submittal packages
Qualifications:
Excellent attention to detail, time management and multi-tasking skill
Must work well in a team setting as well as individually
Positive attitude, extremely organized, detail oriented and customer focused
At times must be able to work to meet tight deadlines
Skills and Experience:
3 years' experience using AutoCAD
Strong computer skills
Excellent attention to detail
Experience with cabinetry/millwork
Time management and multi-tasking skills are a must
