Salary : $25.56 - $30.33/hr.; Range 57; (5 steps; Maximum reached in 3.5 years)
The Cook reports directly to the Director, Child Nutrition Services or designee to prepare food according to specified standard recipes, ensures quantity and quality standards are maintained and mandated nutritional requirements are met. May assist with packaging, cleaning, serving and operating the point of sale system. Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
Two Letters of Recommendation.
Obtain within one year of hire and maintain Food Safety Certification.
EDUCATION:
Required: Equivalent to completion of high school.
EXPERIENCE:
Required: Two years of experience in quantity cooking in a commercial/industrial setting.
Desirable: School District cooking experience.
