LELE KITCHEN is a newly opened upscale casual restaurant in Los Gatos, blending the freshness of California farm-to-table cuisine with the bold flavors of Eastern Europe. Our intimate 45-seat restaurant is open for dinner service from Thursday to Monday, 5 PM to 9 PM. With a small but passionate cooking team, we got approval from the community for our fresh ingredients and artistic presentations. Now, we’re looking to elevate our menu and become a culinary destination in the South Bay.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We are searching for a skilled, creative, and self-motivated Sous Chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment and shares our commitment to quality and creativity. With opportunities for improvement and growth, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our menu and executing exciting culinary projects.

WHAT YOU BRING:

- Culinary Leadership:Experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role, ideally in casual yet elevated dining environments. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked or staged at Michelin-recognized restaurants.

- Passion for Excellence:A love for crafting high-quality cuisine and an eye for detail in every dish.

- Farm-to-Table Expertise:Familiarity with Californian seasonal ingredients and an understanding of modern culinary techniques and trends.

- Team Leadership:Ability to inspire and guide team members with a positive, collaborative attitude.

- Growth-Oriented:Self-motivation, adaptability, and a drive to help our restaurant grow while achieving personal professional milestones.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Collaborate with the head chef to plan and execute seasonal menus.

- Prep and oversee the preparation of fresh produce, local seafood, and quality meats.

- Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation across all dishes.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment, ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety.

- Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a strong team culture.

- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and waste reduction.

- Bring creative ideas to enhance menu offerings and drive innovation.

SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION:

- Work Schedule: Thursday through Monday.

- Salary: Competitive and based on experience.
