We're looking for a sharp bookkeeping assistant with a strong understanding of both restaurant operations and bookkeeping to fill our part-time bookkeeping position. Must have experience using the Toast POS system and ideally, Toast Payroll.
The position requires approximately 15 hours/week during normal business hours, with some flexibility as to exact hours.
Responsibilities:
Review and submit bi-weekly payroll for 70 employees using Toast Payroll
Complete vault log and income sheets
Count cash drops
Set up the cash banks for service
Count and allocate tips and service fees
Code invoices and credit card statements
Assist with Accounts Payable
Assist in preparing period-end reports including submitting manual check and petty cash logs, vault
