Full time Dental Assistant Position

We are looking for a Full time dental assistant

Our office prides ourselves in providing quality dental care to our patients. We use the newest technologies to diagnose, treatment plan, and treat our patients. We need a new Assistant to add to our dental team. An ideal candidate should possess a strong knowledge of dental procedures and patient care, along with exceptional organizational and communication skills.

Duties include:

- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures

- perform RDA duties such as coronal polishing, sealants, and temporary crowns

- perform DA duties such as, but not limited to, alginate impressions, digital scans on iTero, set up and prepare equipment and instruments

- demonstrate excellent bedside manner and proper injection control techniques

- Take and mount dental radiographs (x-rays)

- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures

- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health

- Perform various office tasks as needed

- Manage time to efficiently and effectively see patients

Qualifications:

- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience is a plus

- X-ray certification

- CPR Certified

- Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and sterilization methods

- Experience with dental software systems

- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality

- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members

- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Additional Skills:

- Understanding of dental coding

- Knowledge of 3D scanner technology and crown design experience

- Experience in assisting with endodontic and implant procedures

- Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques

- Previous experience as a dental receptionist

Office hours:

Monday/Friday: 8:30am - 7pm

Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday: 9am - 6pm

Alternating Saturdays: 9am - 4pm

Salary:

40hr/week

Ranges depending on experience: starting $25-30
