My partner and I are looking for someone to provide 4 hours of light housekeeping per week. Additionally, there will be a few months when we will have you come help with extra cleaning projects. During those weeks you would be here a total of 6 - 8 hours per week.
I am the permanent full-time caregiver for my partner, and I don’t have enough time to keep this place clean. There will be rare occations when you will need to do a little caregiving, but 98% of the time, we just need help with cleaning. You will be paid in part by the state, and we will add to your wage to make it $20 - $25 an hour based on experience.
Duties will include:
Be friendly and kind when speaking with my partner. Acknowledge him if you are cleaning near him, so he can get to know you a bit. Our place is so small, it’s awkward to have people come and work silently all the time.
Clean floors, and dust counters, shelves, appliances etc.,
Clean, dry, and put away dishes, clean the refridgerator
Clean and dust upstairs, and assist with organizing the loft storage area,
There will be some months when you can work additional hours to do other organizing and cleaning projects. If like gardening, cooking, or doing craft projects, we can pay you to do a little of this work for us.
If you show us that you are reliable and honest, we can allow you a lot of flexibility to arrange your schedule as you choose.
