I am looking for kind and compassionate female Companion Care Person (CCP) for my 89 year old mother who has moderately severe dementia and currently lives in a local residential memory care facility. She is unable to converse, but enjoys doing art, listening to music, dancing, singing, and going for walks around town. Residential care staff are responsible for her hygiene (e.g., incontinence care), but CCP must be familiar with, and willing/able to address her incontinence when away from the facility. The ideal candidate is experienced working with the elderly who have dementia, is kind, patient, soft spoken, flexible, and can communicate clearly in English. A valid California driver’s license is required.
Location: Morgan Hill, CA
Hours: Flexible, but averaging from 20 to 25 hours per week.
Times: Flexible, but generally between 10 am and 4:30 pm is ideal.
Days: Days are flexible, but consistency is important.
Rate: $30/hour
