Position Summary:

The HR Associate / Manager will be an energetic, HR professional eager to oversee all general human resources administration and processes with specific ownership of HR administration, Benefits management, creating and managing company policies, onboarding/offboarding, compliance, employee relations, leveraging HRIS to process employee changes to keep records current, leave management, compensation benchmarking, and ensuring a valuable experience for the employees and sponsoring company, CULTURE-RICH EVENTS.

Core Job Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee day-to-day Human Resources activities; process new hires, terminations, job changes / transfers; develop internal policies, as needed, to address the dynamic needs of a small company environment; maintain accurate and up-to-date records and manage employee data changes

Assist Functional Leaders in managing a fair / equitable compensation structure for the company; develop policies and procedures, as needed, to ensure fair / equitable compensation

Assist hiring managers in their recruiting and staffing needs; work with functional heads on organizational / departmental planning

Interface with hiring managers and candidates to negotiate and exchange information with all levels of management

Define and manage performance management and improvement systems

Ensure accurate HR policy documentation and work to ensure the Company is in compliance with federal and state regulations as they relate to labor issues

Work to ensure the Company is maintaining positive employee relations and manage employee relations issues process through resolution

Work with outside brokers to manage and administer all employee benefit programs. Be familiar with health insurance plans, voluntary plans, and leave of absence program. Research and resolve various benefits related issues. Coordinate open enrollment and other benefits related events

Ensure compliance with mandated employee safety, welfare, wellness and health initiatives

Deliver results with little supervision

Effectively manage multiple projects

Achieve high levels of internal customer satisfaction

Prioritize multiple functions, tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast paced, changing work environment

Participate in related programs and process improvement projects as needed

Effectively balance employee advocacy with strong focus on business needs

Review and approve benefit billing and reconciliation. Work closely with insurance broker, vendors and internal group in reviewing contracts and agreements to ensure company compliance with federal and state laws, HIPAA, ERISA and other relevant statutes¨

Manage logistics of HR sponsored events/programs

Plan and oversee company quarterly events

Requirements:

2-5 years' experience in HR administration (Associate) / 3-7 years (Manager)

Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; knowledge of

Demonstrated ability to work creatively amidst competing priorities to meet goals/objective on time

Solid verbal/written communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills to work across multiple constituents

Experience scheduling interviews

Positive, can-do attitude

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Results oriented and the ability to deal with challenging circumstances when they arise

Excellent organizational & multi-tasking skills

Bachelor's degree
