JOB TITLE: Inventory Clerk
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The function will contain data entry, inventory management and customer interaction. It requires organizational skills and attention to detail. This is an entry level position.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work requires walking, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires physical lifting and moving of mechanical/electrical parts. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports. Requires lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in a work/office environment. It may involve contact with internal customers in person and through email correspondence.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned.)
Data entry from multiple sources on a daily basis.
Receive and organize mechanical/electrical parts.
Retrieve parts and kits for engineers.
Update Databases, Word, Excel or PowerPoint documents as required.
Miscellaneous projects as assigned.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Highly detail oriented with great organization skills.
Knowledge of computer systems, programs and applications.
Skills in written and verbal communication.
Computer skills including Windows, Outlook and ability to use Intranet browsers
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
EDUCATION/EXPEREINCE:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet. Need to have high level of organization, patience, and flexibility.
