Marin Treatment Center (MTC) is a growing San Rafael based outpatient community clinic, specializing in Substance Use Disorder and Mental Health Treatment.
We are looking to hire a seasoned accounting and finance manager to help us expand our finance department. This is a part time to full time position. Experience in Drug MediCal and Drug MediCal accounting and reporting is essential for this position. Experience working in a non-profit setting and developing cost allocation models is highly desirable.
This position requires a high degree of organization and communication skills, and must be able to work with a high degree of independence. This position will work directly with our CEO, COO and accountant.
Responsibilities Include:
1. Work with accounting department to organize and streamline our accounting systems and provide timely financial reporting
2. Managing the accounting department
3. Work with the Executive Team to secure grant funding opportunities
4. Participate in Management Team Meetings
5. Submit cost reports as required
6. Act as co-lead on government audits
7. Work with the agencys CPA as needed
8. Participate in Board of Directors meetings as necessary
9. Work with the Executive Team in contract negotiations
10. Establish and update the agencys fiscal and accounting policies and procedures as required
11. Work with the Executive Team to develop cost allocation and account tracking models and is responsible for continues model updates
