The Self-Healing Research Center doing business as Center for Self-Healing, School for Self-Healing and the Healing Press is a small non-profit in the Outer Sunset neighborhood, centered on the belief that people can improve their vision, health awareness, and physical systems through movement and natural vision improvement exercises. We work with clients with a wide variety of difficulties, from macular degeneration to back pain.

We are looking for a person with compassion and integrity who is interested in supporting the mission of our Center. This person must be open-minded, resourceful, flexible and patient.

Roles of the Office Manager:

Administrative tasks

Participates to the operations of the organization

Schedules clients, workshops and trips and collects payments

Assists with event preparation

Manages volunteers

Communicates regularly with founder, organizers, clients and staff

Assists founder personally

Maintains customer database (Salesforce)

Offers customer service to clients/students (answer, enroll, help, greet) sells products/books

Maintains facilities (keeps inventory of materials stocked and organized) and makes sure the school is clean

The ideal candidate can multitask, is physically fit (can carry boxes up and down stairs) and communicates clearly and respectfully with clients, including difficult ones.

The candidate will also have a high proficiency in English, including professional manner in writing and editing, computer literacy (Microsoft, Apple), social media literacy (Facebook, Youtube) with the ability to learn new programs, and have experience managing. They must have a drivers license.
