ViVO SONOMA - Valley Vibes Youth Orchestra program coordinator
12 - 20 hours a week - afternoons, $25/hour

JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a program coordinator who is passionate about working with children and making a positive change in their lives. In this role you will coordinate smooth operations of all aspects of the ViVO program on the El Verano campus and maintain warm and positive relationships with team members, school staff, parents, children and community members.
You work in an independent and collaborative manner and perform all duties on time and to the highest standards. When issues arise, you communicate proactively and immediately to one of the Directors.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to perform administrative computer tasks
Familiar with MS Office and Google Drive
Collaborative, engaging and task-oriented team member
Ability to be physically active for 3 hours every afternoon
Ability to work well with supervisors, peers, staff, youth and the community
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Experience working with children is a plus
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work in the program 4 school days per week in the afternoon
Responsible for daily operations of the ViVO program from opening to closing
Coordinate and support a team of music teachers (e.g. making copies, help with student behavior etc.)
Supervise students before music classes, during program break and at check-out time
Communicate regularly and proactively with the parents about events, students and program news
On behalf of ViVO, establish warm and inclusive relationships with parents, students, school staff and other stakeholders
Assist executive and artistic director with administrative and operational tasks as needed (e.g. attendance, instrument inventory etc.)
Participate in PD workshops, attend instructor meetings and participate in program concerts and events
