Are you an organized, detail-oriented individual looking to join a solo practice lawyer in the Shadelands area of Walnut Creek? I specialize in estate planning, copyright, and trademark law and am seeking a reliable assistant to help with various office administration tasks.

Position Details:

Hours: Approximately 16-20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling.

Compensation: Competitive, based on experience.

Potential for Growth: Opportunity to increase hours and take on more complex tasks as you prove your capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a tidy and professional office environment (filing, organizing)

Manage mail and email correspondence

Prepare estate planning documents for signing

Act as a witness for the signing of completed wills

Make occasional phone calls to follow up with clients or networking contacts

Additional Responsibilities:

Run errands, such as delivering documents to the post office or courthouse

Draft various legal documents (copyright applications, health care directives, powers of attorney, grant deeds, etc.)

Create and manage social media posts

Ideal Candidate Attributes:

Highly organized and detail-oriented

Capable of working independently with minimal supervision

Experience with Clio legal software, Google Drive, and Microsoft Office is a plus but not required
