Sales Associates/Fragrance Specialists
Ministry of Scent is a popular fragrance business with two stores in San Francisco, one on Valencia Street and one on Fillmore Street. focused on independent and niche perfume brands from around the world, including local makers and international cult hits. The shop has a fun, creative environment with passionate customers and room to grow.
We have two positions open, one at each of our stores, both are part-time. The Fillmore Street position consists of five 4-hour shifts per week. The Valencia Street position is for two 7.5-hour shifts, on Saturdays and Sundays, and ideally includes additional "floater" days. Fragrance Specialist/Sales Associate positions pay $23 per hour.
Retail experience and perfume knowledge is required.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain a working knowledge of the inventory and brands represented in the store
Stay up to date on perfume trends and emergent brands
Work directly with customers to find fragrances based on their preferences
Provide exceptional customer service, including answering questions and assisting with product selection and sales
Ensure that the store is clean, well-organized, and properly merchandised
Follow all store policies, procedures and controls
