Medium-sized, family-owned distribution company looking to fill a full-time warehouse/driver position.
Hours are Monday-Friday 9:30AM-6:30PM. No weekend work! HIRING RIGHT AWAY!

Responsibilities:
Learning the products we provide, and where to find them in the warehouse.
Learning the daily workflow of the warehouse and general operations.
Learning and being accurate with paperwork.
Verify contents of load against vendor packing list to ensure accuracy.
Unload, prepare, inspect, and deliver orders accurately to a wide variety of customers.
Receiving Merchandise Accurately
Inventory Control/Monitoring
Accuracy Pulling Orders
Loading Trucks Accurately and Effectively
Maintain a Clean/Presentable Warehouse
Customer Service (Will Calls)
Driving Responsibilities:
Deliver a variety of products to different addresses, on varying routes throughout the bay area.
Follow predetermined route and timed schedule to meet expected delivery time/date.
Verify contents of load against customer packing list to ensure accuracy.
Unload, prepare, inspect, and deliver orders accurately to a wide variety of customers.
Collect and secure “C.O.D” payments upon delivery.
Use and understand both paper and digital maps/GPS.
Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle, including fuel/oil/water levels, tire pressure, lights, brakes, lift gates, and backdoors.
Complete pre and post trip inspections.
Recognize and report mechanical issues in a timely and responsible manner.
Maintain upkeep and cleanliness of delivery vehicles.
Complete daily logs and reports.
Work and drive in all weather conditions of northern California.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), OR one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills & Qualifications:
Wholesale or retail box truck driving experience, preferably from a small-medium size company
Ability to lift 50+ pounds throughout the work day/week.
Ability to maneuver heavy pallets with tools given to perform the job safely.
Knowledge of basic DOT, class C regulations and safety
Class C Driver License Required.
Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the highest standard of integrity and execution
Effective organizational, problem-solving skills.
Enjoys fast paced environment dependent on multitasking
