Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, assess their needs, and provide personalized product recommendations
- Sales: Drive sales through product knowledge, thoughtful styling suggestions, and building lasting customer relationships
- Merchandising: Maintain visually appealing displays that reflect current trends and showcase products effectively
- Product Knowledge: Stay informed about inventory, product features, materials, and care instructions
- Store Operations: Process transactions accurately, handle cash and credit payments, and maintain organized records
- Inventory Support: Assist with receiving shipments, restocking shelves, and conducting inventory counts
- Store Maintenance: Keep the sales floor, stockroom, and checkout area clean, organized, and inviting
- Team Collaboration: Work cooperatively with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain store standards
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience is ideal
- Genuine interest in home décor, design trends, and lifestyle products
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs
