PapÃs of the Central Coast offers parent groups and social activities in Santa Cruz and Monterey Counties designed to strengthen the father-child bond. We concentrate on developing the five relationships: relationship to self, relationship to child, relationship to co-parent, relationship to family of origin, relationship to community. Our goals are to increase positive father-child relationships and promote the role of fathers in the lives of children.

The best person for the Data Coordinator position will be a self-starter, will be effective managing data and incorporating information for supporting the team. The ideal candidate for the Data Coordinator position will be a confident, energetic, enthusiastic, positive, inspirational, and hard-working person with people skills on a variety of levels. The data coordinator should expect to be a part of the leadership team, to be guiding the team toward higher forms of practice and service delivery by providing timely and consumable infographics, data and programmatic guidance.

Overall Scope of Responsibilities:

We are seeking a dynamic Data Coordinator to work on a team honoring and promoting fathers and father-figures through advocacy and education, strengthening their family and community in both Santa Cruz and Monterey counties. The position will manage data and intake documentation systems to allow progress tracking and best practices. Under the direction and supervision of the Program Manager, the Data Coordinator provides data management and data analysis support for all PapÃs Staff. The Data Coordinator provides support and technical assistance to Managers/Coordinators/Staff with the generation of reports, the aggregation of data, and in leading and coordinating data related meetings and projects. The Data Coordinator also supports, and assists with, the successful implementation of new data systems, technology and procedures. Guides the program practices and policy as it relates to data outcomes. Develops/oversees data-driven training for staff. Salary is dependent on education and experience. The Data Coordinator will assist with office responsibilities such as the ability to prepare and generate reports using data, keeping records; assist, collect, monitors, analyzes, programmatic/client data, participate in meetings, trainings, events, and filing system maintenance. Hourly pay differential for bilingual skills awarded upon qualification. The position is full time at 40 hours a week.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain Weekly client attendance

Intake info submissions and case management assignment

Updating client statuses in databases

Opening new contracts

Client Incentives management

Updating Resource database (Weekly)

Maintaining retention by identifying dropout clients

Updating sign in sheets (weekly)

Prompting Case managers regarding client participation drop offs in groups

Coordinate volunteer data entry

Weekly call list system maintenance

Attend all relevant program meetings

Lead CQI process and include CQI team

Weekly update on CQI log/template

Weekly meeting w/team on progress (clear communication of deadlines, responsibilities, upcoming tasks and brainstorming if team is having challenges)

Local Evaluation Plan (implement plan and track progress; prepare reports)

Establish a grant deliverable/data-point matrix and regularly monitor service delivery for grant compliance

Participate and lead regular data-driven team meetings to guide best practice; coordinate with managers to ensure that changes have been implemented

Assist with developing program growth strategy

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Statistics, and Data Management

Two years professional level experience in data coordination, report generation, data analysis, project management and managing data systems

Advanced computer skills and attention to detail

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrated ability to multi-task successfully and problem solve

Demonstrated ability to work professionally and effectively with Managers, Coordinators and Staff

Demonstrated ability to provide data-centered leadership and guidance to the team

Criminal Record Clearance

Pass a back ground check, finger printing and/ TB test clearance before hire Provide own transportation; Valid Drivers License, vehicle insurance and good driving record

Wages & Benefits:

Our total compensation package includes a comprehensive medical and dental insurance plan for full time employees, 403(b) retirement plan, paid holiday, sick time, and 17 days of paid vacation, pro-rated for positions less than 40 hours a week.
