We are a trusted construction company that specializes in energy-efficient home remodeling, including Roofing, Windows, HVAC, Landscaping, Exterior paint, Solar and insulation. Due to high demand and growing interest in our services, we are looking for a Sales Associate to join our team.
This is not a traditional sales job. Given our deep expertise and local roots, we already have leads generated and have high demand for our solutions. In this position you’ll focus on helping customers and introducing them to home improvement innovations that they truly need. Keep reading to learn how we set you up for success!
About You
You’re a go-getter, a persuasive salesperson, and have deep interest in home remodeling and energy-efficient solutions. You’re driven by success and have a principled approach to work. For you, success is more than meeting sales targets. It’s about building trust, and having your customer’s best interests in mind. In this role, you will:
- Develop a solid understanding of our construction solutions
- Assist customers by providing excellent service and placing orders accurately
- Apply your product knowledge to upsell customers
- Communicate with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and capture feedback, if any
- Participate in training new reps, team members, and suppliers as needed
- Participate in continuous product training to maintain thorough industry knowledge
- Solicit, sell, negotiate, and draft construction contracts
Skills and qualifications that you’ll bring to our team:
- An HIS License
- 2+ years of experience in Home Improvement Sales
- High School degree or equivalent
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well independently
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Detail oriented, disciplined and professional
- Knowledge in any one of the following areas at minimum:
landscaping, solar, roofing, HVAC or windows.
- Valid California State driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required
