JFC International, a major Japanese and Asian food distributor located in Fremont, CA, is looking for people to quickly join its sales team.

This is for a full-time exempt sales position.
Job summary:
- Responsible for maintenance and development of customer accounts
- Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales
- Communicate daily with customers
- Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability and uses
- Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests
- Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders
- Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support
- Provide customers with product samples and catalogs
- Negotiate details of contracts and payments, and prepare sales contracts and order forms
- Collect payment
- Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports
- Other duties as required to support on-going sales and other branch operational needs
Education/Experience/Skills:
- College graduate or equivalent preferred
- Excellent English language skills in reading, writing, and speaking
- Fluent in Korean, Japanese or Chinese is a big plus
- Knowledge of Japanese language and business culture preferred
- Good driving record required
- Able to drive long distances
- Strong attention to detail
- Prior experience in Asian food sales/distribution industry preferred
- Microsoft Office and general computer skills required (Excel, Word, etc.)
