Ladera is a food manufacturer based in California. We re-create popular Americans foods using simple ingredients and less sugar.
Ladera's name comes from a small town in Northern California where the founder, Brian, grew up. His mother, a Stanford trained medical doctor, made granola for her kids growing up. Being the best granola around, when Brian came back from college, he decided to launch it in stores.
Today Ladera is one of the most popular granolas in Northern California. You can find the granolas in hundreds of stores including WFM, Safeway, and Savemart. They have a strong presence in food service and private label where they serve hundreds of schools, universities, corporate campuses with healthier, less processed, low sugar granolas. Some lucky guinea pigs are beta testing our innovation outside of granola.
What we are looking for
Ladera needs help with account management and business development. Laderas current customer base requires monitoring and creative marketing in order to get the word out there. It is your job to manage these relationships so we keep doing amazingly. In addition, you will be required to bring in new business for Ladera by prospecting new sales opportunities, getting in touch with the decision makers, and setting up meetings to close new business.
It is very important that you are:
- Highly independent / require minimum supervision
- Willing to travel by car and plane to visit important customers
- Highly organized and familiar with Excel / google sheets
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Compensation will depend on experience and commitment. We will be providing strong equity incentives in addition to hourly compensation.
