Role Description:
This is a full-time commission-based role for a Solar Sales Representative at Highlight Solar in San Jose, CA. The Solar Sales Representative will be responsible for meeting with potential clients, providing solar electric system information, conducting site evaluations, preparing proposals, and closing sales deals. This role involves educating customers on solar energy benefits and assisting them in making informed decisions for renewable energy resources.
Qualifications:
- Sales, Customer Relationship Management, and Negotiation skills
- Knowledge of solar energy technology and products
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to conduct site evaluations and assess solar feasibility
- Time management and organizational skills
- Experience in the solar industry is a plus
- Knowledge of electrical and/or solar technologies is a plus
- Must be able to lift 40+ lbs minimum, climb ladders, and conduct roof measurements
- Must be able to drive and possess a valid driver's license to commute for site visits
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or related fields
