Salon Coordinator (Receptionist)

Curlture Salon is a diverse, team based, natural curly hair salon located in Santa Rosa, and we are looking for a new addition to join the team!

We are seeking a full-time, organized Salon Coordinator to manage the front of house duties to ensure an efficient and pleasant client experience within our salon. In the day-to-day the salon coordinator can expect to greet clients, handle incoming emails and phone calls, manage scheduling details, assist in sales, and efficiently complete the checkout process after every service. As the first face the client sees, it is important that the salon coordinator always conducts themselves in a friendly, welcoming, and professional manner.

Responsibilities for this role include:

Greeting clients in a professional manner, always with a smile

Checking in clients and notifying their stylist

Offering/making clients beverages

Scheduling appointments

Filling openings in the schedule

Manage the waitlist

Confirm appointments and manage any changes to the schedule

Conveying salon policies and procedures

Positive conflict resolution

Answering phone calls and returning any subsequent messages

Monitoring the salon email and Instagram messages

Coordinating the flow of checkout and prebooking all clients

Providing salon tours to all new clients

Providing support to the stylists

Helping to reach salon goals

Providing detailed descriptions of our services to clients

Organization and cleanliness of the front desk and waiting area

Receiving mail and packages

Managing product retail inventory

Required qualifications:

Ability to multitask and handle tasks in a timely manner

Punctuality and Professionalism

Accountability and ability to follow through

Verbal and written communication skills

Comfortable answering phone calls and sending emails

Has initiative and problem-solving skills

Works well on a team

Ability to work in a lively environment

Organizational skills

Personable and Positive

Preferred qualifications:

2+ years' experience in a receptionist role

2+ years’ experience in a customer service role

Highschool Diploma or equivalent
