We are a small local company growing quickly. We produce commercial video, short-form documentary content, social/vertical media, and broad media capture services from our office on the Westside of Santa Cruz.
We are seeking local video editors for project-based work. Projects include commercial, educational, short documentary, social-first vertical video, and occasional audio editing.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro (with general troubleshooting ability)
- Reliable turnaround and clear communication
- Comfortable taking editorial direction
- Able to collaborate when needed
- Enthusiastic about story-driven editing
Nice to have:
- After Effects or basic motion graphics
- Interest in emergent AI post-production tools
- Experience shooting and editing your own footage
- Familiarity with social-first content strategy
Details:
- On-call / part-time / project-based
- Remote + in-person as needed (must be local)
- Compensation commensurate with experience
