Job Title: Construction Superintendent
Location: Sonoma, California
Position Summary:
Our construction general contracting firm is actively seeking a seasoned and experienced Construction Superintendent to join our thriving Sonoma, CA office.
Our firm specializes in the development and construction of mid to large scale building construction including commercial, winery, residential, healthcare, hospitality, and tenant improvement projects in and around the Sonoma and Marin county. We are looking for a highly experienced onsite construction professional to oversee the subcontractor labor force.

Role and Responsibilities of this Construction Superintendent will include but are not limited to:
- Direct day to day construction work and supervise the onsite construction subcontractor labor force
- Manage quality control programs
- Coordinate site testing and inspections
- Manage self-perform features of work
- Ensure an injury free and safe environment
- Manage schedules and ensure all activities take place
- Assist with Pre-construction/ Estimating phase of the project
- Verify final record drawings are accurate Reviews and verifies all requests for information (RFI’s)
- Reviews and approves submittals for processing
The ideal Construction Superintendent will have the following background skills and experience:
- 10+ years of experience in a Construction experience working within a Construction Superintendent role
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Prior Construction scheduling experience is a plus
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (outlook, excel, word, etc.)
- Procore construction software experience is ideal
- Construction Superintendent experience managing healthcare / OSHPD and or educational / DSA construction projects are a huge plus
- Ideal Superintendent will be Safety first minded
- Managing self-performed work
- Interpersonal and leadership skills
