Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $40.90 – $50.50 per hour for non prevailing wage projects (equivalent to $85,000 – $105,000 annually, depending on experience and assignment type).
Eligible employees may participate in company-sponsored benefit plans, including health, dental, and retirement programs. The value of employer-provided benefits may be credited toward the fringe benefit component of the prevailing wage rate where applicable.
Prevailing-Wage Compensation:
This role includes assignments on public works projects throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California. All hours worked on such projects will be compensated at the applicable California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) prevailing-wage rate for the Electrician: Inside Wireman or Installer classification, as determined by the county and project type where the work is performed.
Compensation will include both the basic hourly rate and required fringe benefits for the relevant classification and location.
Fringe benefits may be provided through the company’s benefit plans or paid in cash in accordance with Labor Code § 1773.1.
Workers will be paid weekly, in compliance with Labor Code §1813, with overtime and double-time paid as required by public works regulations.

Job Description
Grid Titans is seeking a licensed Journeyman Electrician to lead the installation and maintenance of solar, battery, and generator systems. This role requires advanced electrical knowledge, strong leadership in the field, and a commitment to safety and quality. You’ll work with a skilled team helping homeowners and businesses achieve true energy independence while representing one of California’s fastest-growing clean energy companies.
Key Responsibilities
Install electrical systems including Main Service panels, solar, inverter, backup battery systems.
Read and interpret blueprints, single-line diagrams, and technical schematics.
Perform conduit bending, wire pulling, terminations, and system interconnections.
Ensure all work complies with NEC, CEC, OSHA, and AHJ requirements.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems as needed.
Use company CRM to update project notes, track job progress, and log customer communications.
Communicate professionally with customers regarding scheduling, site conditions, and job status.
Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and apprentices to ensure smooth workflow.
Mentor and guide apprentices on safety and technical practices.
Maintain jobsite documentation including safety logs, time sheets, and daily reports.
Requirements
Must hold a current California State General Electrician Certification issued by the DIR, Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE)
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must comply with all jobsite safety and public works reporting requirements
Minimum of 4 years of electrical field experience (solar, battery storage, or generator installation experience strongly preferred).
Strong knowledge of NEC, CEC, and OSHA safety standards.
Proficiency with electrical tools, diagnostic equipment, and installation techniques.
Familiarity with CRM systems (preferred: FieldPulse, ServiceTitan, or similar).
Ability to handle customer communications with professionalism and clarity.
Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in outdoor conditions.
Excellent teamwork, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
