Experienced Technicians/Installers wanted who are familiar with low voltage wiring, telephone systems and networks to work for a Bay Area communication company to install/repair low voltage Structured Cabling Systems in the Bay Area. You must have reliable transportation to carry 6 or 7 ft. stepladder, materials and small tools. We have a bargaining agreement with the Communication Workers of America (CWA) who will provide training through the State of California Apprenticeship Program. Wage scale from $14.05 to $31.25 ($64.20 to $67 on prevailing wage jobs). You must also be able to provide appropriate documentation and pass local law enforcement agencies or FBI background check.
Experience with hand and power tools
Experience running and terminating cables or wiring
Ability to work on ladders, standing, bending, or crouching for long periods of time
Ability to follow directions and complete tasks in a timely manner without direct supervision
Must be reliable to show up on daily basis and be on time
