Job Description
Brief Description
To deburr parts by breaking sharp edges on all internal and external surfaces using motorized, pneumatic and manual methods.
Key Accountabilities
- Follow work instructions both verbal and those printed on the work orders and/or drawings.
- Use the required tools to break sharp edges on various types of product(s), i.e., files, electric dremels, pneumatic die grinders, deburring wheels, carbide bits, Scotch Brite, emery cloth, sandpaper and polishing wheels.
- Ability to understand basic machining measurements, necessary for stock removal.
- Able to work in a high-paced team environment.
- Able to measure parts with a caliper and check threads with thread gauge.
- Able to provide feedback to department lead to adjust equipment or process to maintain part requirements.
- Ability to frequently use either one or both hands to firmly grasp, push and/or pull.
- Ability to frequently sit and stand throughout the shift, this also includes repeated walking to work areas, and wash station.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Support lean and 5S standards by being proactive on process improvements.
Qualifications
Desirable Experience, Capabilities and Success Factors
- Good hand dexterity
- Follow instructions both verbally and written
- Previous Deburr experience
- Must be able to read and understand verbal instructions in English
- Able to lift 50 lbs (Over 25 lbs with assistance).
- Fast paced and a self starter
- Per ITAR requirements must be a US Person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card Holder)
