Description:As a part of a small, dynamic team, you will be responsible for the design and development of rocket engine propulsion components and assemblies to meet program requirements. Developing 3-D models, assemblies and detail drawings as well as interface control documents

Accurately reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports

Specifying and procuring components and materials

Developing design proposals and effectively responding to customer requests

Creating conceptual layouts of propulsion systems and other systems within flight vehicles for proposals and preliminary designs

Researching and analyzing design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, maintenance requirements and risk of designs or applications

Identifying risks and developing risk mitigation strategies and programs that lead to the successful execution of projects

Mentor less experienced engineers

Effectively communicating with stakeholders, including customers, to provide regular project status updates, technical coordination, expectation setting, and requirements managementSkills:CREO, Proe, Cad, Mechanical engineering, Design, propulsion systems, spacecraft, spaceflight, gd&tTop Skills Details:CREO

Space Industry

GD&TAdditional Skills & Qualifications: B.S. or higher in Aerospace, Mechanical, or similar engineering discipline with 4+ years of relevant experience

Experience of high precision component design

Experience of Creo Parametric and Windchill PLM tools

Practical experience of ASME Y14.5 dimensioning and tolerancing standard and tolerance stack-up analyses

Working knowledge of fluid joint interconnects

Working knowledge of materials, treatments, processing and joining processes, and verification

Team leadership experience and excellent organizational skillsDesired skills:

Strong knowledge of liquid rocket propulsion component and system design

Analytical analysis, in the area of stress and fluid dynamics
