Volutone Distributing Co. is looking for a Warehouse/Driver for our wholesale consumer electronics company. Receives, stores and distributes product by performing the following duties:
Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to sales associates for processing.
Assist with basic will call sales and customer service.
Complete will call and walk in transactions.
Answer incoming calls and provide customer service or transfer to proper department or individual.
Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.
Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
Ensuring warehouse is accessible and safe.
Assembling customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocating orders to a holding area or shipping department.
Marking materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program.
Assist in the counting of physical inventory.
Weigh and count items for distribution within facility to ensure conformance to company standards.
May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.
Prepare parcels for mailing.
Sweep, dust and mop Warehouse floors.
Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
Wearing the proper safety equipment.
Other miscellaneous duties as required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
One year or more related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Home theater, home automation and/or security product knowledge is a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Must pass background check, alcohol and drug testing prior to employment.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively over the phone and in person.
Must be a team player

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 11:00 AM TO 8:00 PM, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
