Job Description
DevOps Manager Simi Valley, CA Direct HireUp to $170k year Successful candidate will plan, organize, and manage staff and overall tools and DevOps pipeline operations to ensure the stable use of the department's tools and the automation of the DevOps pipeline. This includes developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas, particularly internal tools, DevOps processes and automation, proper utilization of tools data to improve the department's ITSM processes and streamline of engineering software and best practices. Additionally, one designs and implements short- and long-term strategic plans to ensure tools and DevOps practices meet companies growth business needs. Required Skills:- Bachelor's degree in the field of Information Technology Management or related field
- Minimum 7+ years' related work experience managing diverse DevOps workloads, and tools teams
- Minimum 4+ years of demonstrated successful leadership of a Tools/DevOps team
- Minimum 4+ years of automation and configuration management using Ansible/Ansible Tower and similar tools
- Minimum of 5+ years of Atlassian suite experience
- Minimum of 6+ years of Linux administration experience, AWS application deployment, Azure application deployment
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience working with containerization, orchestration, service discovery experience on Windows and Linux hosts, using Docker and /or ECS, and experience with GitLab or similar version control systems including branching, tagging, merging and release management
- Minimum of 5+ years of middleware and API integration experience with various system
- Experience implementing Cyber Security frameworks (NIST, SOX, Audit)
- Experience with varied SQL, noSQL Databases, Docker, automated build deployment systems and BigData platform
- Demonstrated knowledge of service and application delivery, as well as successful service level agreement accomplishments
