Sorenson, Ransom & Ferguson, LLP, is a general practice civil law firm in Grants Pass, Oregon.

Grants Pass is located in a unique west coast mountain climate, approximately: 25 minutes from the Rogue Valley International Airport in Medford; 90 minutes from the Redwood National Park; two hours from the Oregon coast; a half hour from the Applegate and Illinois Valley wineries; and white water rafting is a few minutes away on the Rogue River. Hiking, waterfalls, fishing and other outdoor activities are minutes away in every direction.

Our firm handles a variety of general civil legal issues, including estate planning, probate, trust administration, real property transactions and disputes, conservatorships and guardianships, business organizations and transactions, family law, collections and foreclosures, and other general civil legal issues. We regularly represent and advise companies, individuals, estate and trust representatives, banks, private lenders, school districts and government entities and landlords.

We are seeking a committed attorney to join our firm as an associate to assist us with our varied legal practice. Some flexibility as to area of practice for the attorney may be available depending on the skills or interests of the particular lawyer. Our associates are provided early opportunities to work directly with clients, assist with litigation and appear in court.

We acknowledge that law students may not yet know what sort of lawyer they wish to be and will allow opportunities for the right candidate to develop their own legal practice depending on the attorney's interests in different areas of the law.

The successful applicant must either be a member of the Oregon State Bar or be committed to applying for membership. A summer clerkship may be possible for candidates intending to take the Oregon State Bar exam in the summer of 2022.
