Job Requirements
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Knowledge of basic hand tool use.
- Initiative to learn new responsibilities.
- Be able to communicate well.
- Reliable work ethics and attendance.
- Must pass a background check and drug test.
Skills Needed / Responsibilities
- Have the physical ability to perform manual labor, which may include: bending, repetitive motions, sitting for long periods.
- Good attendance is a priority.
- Excellent vision (Corrective lenses okay). No color blindness.
- Good dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
- Ability to understand blue prints, drawings, written instructions, and measurements.
- Mechanical Aptitude.
- Possess a self-motivated, proactive and positive attitude.
- Be able and willing to work in a team environment and take direction from the lead assembler.
- Be able to communicate fully with other team members.
- Be familiar with and able to use basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, wire strippers, pliers, nut drivers, etc¦
- Will be responsible for following all company safety standards.
With training will be expected to:
- Take part in basic housekeeping tasks such as keeping workstation organized and floors swept.
- Ensure workmanship standards are met on products manufactured and perform quality control tests when applicable (training provided).
- Use a soldering iron (training provided) and build and assemble complex electro-mechanical products working to company high standards (training provided).
