211info is hiring a Supervisor for our new Covid-19 Vaccination Program. The program addresses Oregonians’ questions and provides up-to-date information about the vaccine and related topics. The Supervisor will work with a team of more than a dozen Community Information Specialists—Vaccine Program. The Supervisor will participate in hiring, training, and quality assurance; and will investigate complaints, coach staff, and problem-solve when staff experience technical issues.

Covid-19 information changes rapidly; ideal candidates are quick learners who are able to provide leadership in a changing work environment. Candidates should have a commitment to the vaccination program, a customer-service mentality, and an understanding of equity within a public health setting. Experience with 211 service or contact centers is a plus. People who are BIPOC, speak languages in addition to English, and live in rural areas are encouraged to apply.
This is a full-time, benefitted position that pays $18.50 an hour. Position is open until filled, with a quick timeline. Applicants should have two years of crisis intervention/hotline service or two years of supervisory experience with a social service organization (call center preferred).
