Avila Valley Barn is a unique farmers market type farm stand that is family owned and operated. We offer our visitors a wide selection of quality products focusing on local and California based. We’ve been a proud business of the SLO community since 1985 during which we have valued our good relationship with our neighbors and community. We pride ourselves in customer service and the farm experience.
We offer meats and veggies, you-pick fruits, hayrides, farm pets, pony rides, dinning, hay maze, Christmas trees and festivities for all seasons. Avila Valley Barn is a family-oriented company.
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for both experienced and non-experienced persons to execute the daily production of our handmade pies, breads, muffins, turnovers and pies. Jobs range from stocking our pie table and wrapping items for sales to making dough and assembling pies. Must be able to be on your feet during your shift and lift trays of pies and baked goods.
REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Willingness to be trained on the tools associated with fruit stocking
Ability to work efficiently in outdoor shifting climatic environments
Positive can-do attitude that wants to work in a team atmosphere!
