We are a crew of artisans who specialize in cheese, charcuterie, and all of their accompaniments. We opened in downtown Paso Robles on 13th street over 16 years ago and continue to climb in our passion for our products and our community, and are looking for two outstanding individuals to enjoy company and food!
A prospective applicant will form relationships with locals who stop by for their weekly groceries, as well as visitors from out of town who are looking for special treats to accompany their wine tasting.
Forming these relationships requires a socially intelligent individual who works with dexterity, is self-driven, and absolutely loves food. We function through a unique customer service experience, wherein we provide each and every customer with our full-attention, accommodate, and educate them to our fullest extent about the product.
Our daily tasks include, but are not limited to, the following: broadening research and product knowledge, product description and identification, product sampling, consciousness of sales, consciousness of food safety, and being personable with customers; which also includes offering product, community, and other local business suggestions based on customer desires.
Applicants must have the following abilities: lift up to 40 pounds, handle and use a knife, stand for a complete 8-hour shift, and use our POS system. Must be food-safe certified within 30 days of hire. Weekend and holiday shifts are imperative. (We are closed Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Year's Day.)
Previous experience in food or beverage specialty is preferred, but not required.
