Professional disabled/ wheelchair student seeking 1. private home care assistant and 2. professional assistant while attending Cal Poly University. I am looking to employ two people, for the two positions available. I live in a clean and friendly environment, and have a busy lifestyle as an emerging professional. Im looking for team members who value professionalism, positivity, who can take initiative and leadership. Potential applicants for school assistant have the opportunity to learn about university experience, and will directly act on my behalf as a graduate student in my practicum program. -Home care assistant duties: transferring, showering, assistance using the restroom, grooming, dressing, cooking, light cleaning, laundry, occasional shopping/appts., house management.
-Days: Mon through Friday morning
-Hours: must be flexible 7-8am- 10-12pm
-Requirement: physically active, as morning routine moves quickly
-School assistant duties: packing up books, drinks, jacket, assistance into wheelchair accessible van, driving to campus, assistance setting up personal items in class, assistance using the restroom, driving home, putting personal items away.
Days: Mon through Friday
Hours: must be flexible 10am -end of day
Requirement: licensed driver, and physically active
