Well established, award winning Landscape Company looking to fill a Lead position. We are looking for someone who is self motivated, hard working, honest and dependable with good communication skills.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years landscape maintenance experience and 1 year Supervisory experience
- Must be able to manage and train crew members in company practices and procedures.
- Must be able to prioritize tasks and work efficiently
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must be able to keep accurate records
- Must have a Driver’s license and clean DMV record
- Good knowledge of plant materials & turf and how to maintain them
- Experienced in recognizing and treating plant diseases and pests
- Good knowledge of fertilizers & pesticides, and how to use them
- Able to troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems, and program irrigation controllers properly
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys doing landscape maintenance and can maintain properties to the client’s and management’s satisfaction, as well as maintain good relationships with client’s, and report their needs to management. We don’t see this position as a job, but a career with the opportunity for upward mobility.
Compensation: $18-$20/hr DOE, Paid sick leave and vacation pay available after 90 days.
