Job Description
Job Title: Maintenance Laborer
Department: Maintenence
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor/ Manager
Summary This position involves performing preventative maintenance along with general maintenance duties. All tasks will be performed while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company. The Manager Manager may assign other duties to be completed by the Maintenance Laborer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Performs general maintenance tasks assigned by the maintenance supvisor/manager.
Responsible for ensuring each assigned work orders are completed with quality work and safely
Notify manager when a problem with equipment is observed.
General cleanup duties involving sweeping , organizing maintenance materials. removing trash, etc.
Perform light duty cutting and welding work.
Wear appropriate PPE according to Standard Operating Procedures and job requirements.
Ensure all work performed in accordance with safety policies and regulations to promote safety.
Perform various other duties as required which may include assisting other departments

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Read and write English and/or Spanish.
Follow written and/or oral procedures and directions.
Good communication skills able to work well with others and be part of a team.
Ability to take initiative and work with minimum supervision.
Able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
Able to tolerate exposure to greenhouse elements such as heat, cold, water, and dirt.
Willingness to work nights and/or weekends: hours will change based on business needs.
Education and/or Experience
Minimum three years experience in a fast paced environment.
