Specialty food company in Paso Robles, CA. is seeking a part-time (32 hours) shipping and production assistant. Key responsibilities include: shipping, receiving, production, inventory. This position reports to the shipping and production manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Assist with all shipping and receiving operations during every shift
Assist with all production operations and make modifications as needed to improve overall quality and efficiency.
Assist with all inventory at both locations including transfers between tasting rooms.
Review all operations regularly to determine overall levels of efficiency, safety, employee morale, and production, and present findings and suggested changes to the Shipping and Production Coordinator.
Inspect physical condition of shipping and production areas, and equipment to make sure that the quality and conditions are up to standards.
Continuous improvement and focus on efficiency.
Other Duties as Assigned.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Must be able to handle physical tasks- heavy lifting required.
Strong attention to detail
Organized
Ability to multi- task
