We are looking for an energetic, positive individual to work as a Warehouse and Facilities Assistant at our company headquarters in San Luis Obispo.

The Warehouse and Facilities Assistant is responsible for accurate processing, packing, shipping, and tracking of materials as the Events and Shipping department responds to materials requests for workshops, conferences, special events, and other projects. In addition, the Warehouse and Facilities Assistant will also provide support for the Operations Department, focused in, but not limited to facility maintenance, corporate campus security, disaster preparedness, and safety.

This is a regular full-time position.

Responsibilities:

Perform a wide variety of general maintenance and groundskeeping needs including keeping walkways clean, water and prune plants, clean exterior of buildings, move furniture, and various other maintenance activities as directed

Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists for facility maintenance making sure all facility areas are in compliance with Lindamood-Bell safety, organizational, and appearance standards

Assist with the assembly and packing of outgoing shipments, to include compiling materials, completing binders, and organizing handouts as necessary

Receive and process incoming shipments, to include delivery and/or notification to departments of items received

Interact positively and professionally with clients and staff to provide a safe and positive work environment

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Must be mechanically inclined with an understanding of various tools and their use

Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs unassisted

A current driver’s license and proof of auto insurance

Ability to retain and follow oral and written directives

Ability to write legibly and possess basic computer skills

Must pass pre-employment screening and clearances

Must sign Lindamood-Bell’s Confidentiality Agreement
