The Bailey Law Firm is looking for a motivated, full-time Civil Litigation Attorney with exceptional writing, research, and communication skills to fill the full-time position of Associate Attorney in our Firm. The Attorney will be assisting the principal in all areas of our clients' legal needs and should be highly detailed oriented. We are an expanding firm looking for someone who can work in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
Timekeeping and case management
Conduct legal research
Draft complex pleadings, motions, and demand letters
Court appearances
Conduct depositions
Correspond with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
Meet filing deadlines
Provide ethical representation
Qualifications and Skills
The Attorney must have been admitted to the California State Bar for a minimum of three years.
Organized
Proficient with judicial council forms, Microsoft Suite, and Odyssey eFile CA
Strong written and verbal Communication skills
Experience in drafting complex pleadings, motions, demand letters
Experience reviewing financial records
Organized, multi-tasker and detail oriented
Works well under pressure and deadlines
Takes initiative while working independently
Ability to work as a team with support staff
Effectively interact with Clients
