Job Title: Production Assistant/Print Technician (Part Time to become Full Time)
Compensation: $15 - $17
Reports to: Production Lead and Sr. Designer
Job Profile and Description:
The position of Production Assistant/Print Technician is responsible for helping with sign and vinyl production and assisting the Production Lead and Sr. Designer with various duties. In short, we are looking for another team member to join us in making cool things in our workshop.
Sign, Vinyl & Print Production Duties:
Assist with all printing, laminating, cutting, mounting, and trimming of vinyl and media
Assist with painting, prepping and assembly of all signs
Assist with sign and vinyl installations as needed
Assist with vehicle graphics and wrap installations
Inform Design/Sales Dept. of completed jobs
Maintain production calendar/workflow schedule
Help manage sign supplies and media inventory
Keep up routine maintenance and on all equipment
Help keep workshop organized and tidy
Help with quality control of all our projects
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
1 year minimum experience in sign or print shop (or similar industry)
Experience with applying vinyl to vehicles and a variety of substrates
Light computer skills
Effective verbal communication skills
Problem solving skills
Experience with panel saws and basic shop tools
Comfortable and experience with painting
Ability to climb a ladder
Ability to take accurate measurements and basic mathematics skills
Ability to lift a 50 lb. cat

Ability to work and communicate effectively as a team member
Ability to take direction and guidance
Willing to take initiative to try new things
Ability to problem solve issues
